SOLD C.T Skelton and Co Spar Hook
A lovely rosewood handled spar hook With a leather sheaf. The
blade of this tool is marked C.T. Skelton & Co Sheffield and
measures 145mm long, overall from end to end the billhook measures
282mm long. The leather sheaf's missing part of the locking strap,
all in all a nice clean tool for its age.

An old beech handled billhook, blades marked Elwell 1942, also
has the ministry arrow, the metal ferules marked Elwell. The blade
of this old billhook measures around 10 1/2" (264mm) long,
overall the total length of this tool is 16" (406mm) long.
Handle has two shrinkage cracks.

SOLD Yorkshire Billhook
A strapped Yorkshire billhook with a clean hardwood handle, base
of handle has the initials JWF burnt into it. Blades marked No 3,
also has a makers name though we though very faded we can only make
out the first few letter 'Har', billhook has pitting to its blade,
this old tool measures 26 3/4" long overall, blade to handle
measures 15" long.
