An old brass stemmed mortice gauge with ebony head, marked with previous users name stamps. This old tool has a number of dents to stem and head, plus rounding to the edges of the head. Retains good length points.

A fine old and collectable butt gauge that still retains an estimated 96-98% of nickel plating.

One edge of this tool is faintly marked with previous user’s name stamp. A fine old and collectable butt gauge the has seen little use, still retains an estimated 99% of nickel plating and comes complete with the original Stanley leaflet and box (lid of box has tares down the edges).
