Apple wood handled finger hole rip saw by Disston of Philadelphia. Handle has five brass buttons, slight chip to handle near one of the buttons plus a few scratches. Blades fairly clean but does have some speckling of black staining, to be expected for a saw of this age. The teeth are sharp and there are 4 teeth per 25mm. This old Disston Philadelphia saw blade measures 28" (712mSm) .

A little used cross cut saw made by Disston, blade’s marked “Distton For Beauty, Finish and Utility, this saw cannot be excelled”. Established 1840, D8, 7 points. Disston Canada Limited, Acton, Ontario, Canada, Henry Disston. Handles fitted with four silver coloured buttons one of which is marked Disston Canada. Blade measures 24” long overall. A fine cross cut saw that appears to have had very little use if any.

A fine unused decorative beech handled saw by Tyzack. Brass backs marked "W.Tyzack & Turner Ltd Sheffield England No 120", blades marked "Silver steel tested for hardness Nonpareil". Blade measures 12" long and has 15 points per 25mm. This is a fine and unused tenon saw that maintains its original protective coating and Tyzack trade label.
