A dovetailed panel plane with mahogany handles. Blade appears to be marked “J.G. Graves, Midland Direct Supply Warehouse”, there is some heavy pitting to blade, the useable part of the blade is mainly free of pitting, has a chip to one corner. Infills are marked twice with the previous users name stamp. Outer body is marked with speckling of light staining / minor pitting with some light scratches to the sole.

A lovely little Norris Bullnose plane no. 25 with rosewood wedge. Retains a near full length cutter marked Norris London, retains rear screw. This old Norris bullnose plane has some light scratching and minor dents. A nice collectable no. 25 Norris plane with a good clean fine mouth. All parts original, blade wedge and body are all marked ‘1’.

Coffin shaped A5 smoothing plane made by Norris of London with beech infills that retain little of the original finish. Retains a near full length cutting iron marked Norris London to front side and Robt Sorby to the rear, has some black staining and minor pitting to blade. Lever cap is also marked Norris London along with the brass knurled blade adjusting knob. The plane is marked with some minor speckles of pitting/ staining.

A 13 1/2" iron Scottish panel plane that has been professionally restored. This old woodworking plane has a good length Marples Parallel cutter that has 2 3/4 ” (70mm) of blade left to slot and a Marples cap iron. The sole has a small patch of minor pitting. The top half of the front bun has been professionally remade.

Rosewood infill dovetailed smoothing plane by Mathieson, lever cap is marked Mathieson Glasgow, the front bun is also faintly marked Mathieson along with previous users name stamps. Retains its cap iron marked A. Mathieson & Sons Glasgow, Solid Steel and is fitted with a good length Mawhood replacement parallel iron. This old woodworking plane has seen a lot of use with a large chip to the front bun (see photo) and chips either side of the rear infill close to the cutter bed. The outer body of this woodworking plane is marked with speckling of pitting and light scratching.

A lovely old dovetailed steel Lancashire pattern plane, with mahogany infills and handle and brass screw cap. Top of rear handle has some dents, one side of plane has some pitting near top edge. Plane is 8 - 7/8” (225mm) long overall.

A lovely dovetailed adjustable panel plane with mahogany infills. Cutting iron is marked Kenyon Sheffield. Body is marked with some minor staining. The spur of the rear handle has a small chip (see photo) and is lightly marked with the previous users name stamp, otherwise the infills are in excellent condition, free dents. A fine plane that has a good feel.

An old 13 3/4" jack plane with rosewood handle and infill. The blade is made by Marples, with the cap iron by Atkin & Sons. The handle has a repair to spur (see photo), there are two large chips on the rear infill close to where the blade sits. This old woodworking plane has seen some good use, infills have a number of dents plus the previous users name stamp, outer body is marked with black staining and speckling of mainly minor pitting.

A dovetailed panel plane with rosewood infills by Spiers Ayr. Good length cutting iron marked Alex Mathieson & Son Warranted Cast steel, has some pitting to blade. Plane iron caps marked Thos Ibbotson & CO Sheffield. The lever caps marked Spiers Ayr. Overall this Spiers panel plane measures 13 1/2" long . This plane is in a G+ condition though because of the replacement plane iron, overall condition would be considered G condition.
