1” has scratches to sides of base.
7/8”
¾” the boxing inset from face approx 1/16” (2mm)
5/8” wedge has chip to side.
½” has one old worm hole.
3/16” has small chip out of boxing, wedge has been cleaned to sides, some glue or paint speckles.
All have been well used with a number dents and scratches etc caused through use over the years.

Front and rear ends are marked with the previous users name stamps, these woodworking planes are marked with a number of dents to body and rear of planes. The smallest of the four planes has small screw holes in the base where a fence was used. All four planes retain good length cutters. Includes the following plane sizes: 1 x 3/4", 1 x 1/2”, 1 x 1/4" and 1 x 3/16”.

An old beech jointer plane marked to front of plane A.Mathieson & Son Glasgow Edinburgh.  Cutter is marked James Howarth Warranted Cast steel Sheffield. This old plane has a number of dents to the body with large denting to front and rear ends of the plane. This old woodworking plane has been fitted with an adjustable side fence (see photo), possibly added by the previous user.

Two woodworking planes made by Tucker. Includes a bead marked to nose Tucker London Warranted, rear of this plane is marked 3/8”. The second plane is an ogee marked Tucker London Warranted 31 Sun Street. Has a bruise to front corner and 3 old worm holes.

Both planes are marked with the previous users name stamp, both planes retain good length cutting irons. Believed to have trade from around the 1830’s.

A European plough plane with square stems and steel face Retains a single cutter that measures 4mm wide. The plough stems have four small cracks which measure around 15mm long, located where the stems fix to the plane. A nice old collectable woodworking plane in good condition for its age.
