A stained beech handled smoothing plane no 04, made by Record. This Record woodworking plane retains a near full length Record tungsten steel best crucible cast cutter, body maintains an estimated 98-99% of its blue japanning. Outer body is marked with some light staining, still retains original machine marks. Rear handle retains the original Record trade label.
