An old early Victorian book with super artwork, many of which are coloured and lots of interesting content of the time.
Quarterly Papers on Architecture, volume II with numerous engravings, the greater part of which are coloured. Edited and published by John Weale, dated 1844. Initial page reads 'To James Fergusson, Esquire, this work, specially devoted to architecture and the arts in connexion, is inscribed, as a testimony of respect for his devotion to architectural science, by his very humble servant, John Weale, July 1st, 1844.

This book contains a number of coloured drawings of old church stain glass windows and other mainly church related architecture from eyes looking in 1844.
Condition: cover has faded, has wear to edges and bumped corners. Inside pages have some brown spots in places, also has water marks to corner of around half the pages, please see photos for condition.
