A decorative Brass and Ebony framed William Marples Ultimatum drill brace with fully patinated brass.
Brass frame is stamped ‘William Marples sole manufacture of the Ultimatum framed brace, Sheffield, Hibernia, by her majesty’s Royal Letters Patent ‘.
Condition: all parts work freely, piece of ebony cracked on underside at the front of the brace, a couple of very fine hairline shrinkage splits to handle (hard to see), please see photos.
