A lovely old WWI Marples wooden jack plane fitted with an old Atkin & Sons plane iron.
The front nose is marked with the makers mark 'Hibernia, Wm Marples & Sons, Sheffield' along with the ministry mark and the date 1916.
The cutter is also marked with the ministry mark and the date 1916.
