An old interesting crocodile nutcracker, possibly a Walter Bosse nutcracker.
This old unusual crocodile nutcracker is roughly 6 inches long.

We've not seen this design of nutcracker before, the nutcracker collector we bought this from said it looked like a Walter Bosse nutcracker design.
Walter Bosse created a number of animal designs with the contrast of black and brass.
We believe this old novelty nutcracker dates to the 1950's/1960's.
