A lovely old dovetailed Spier Ayr shoulder plane, fitted with a Hildick snecked iron.
We believe this to be a more unusual / scarce Spiers Of Ayr plane.
This plane has a very fine, tight mouth.
Condition: mouth has a tiny partial nibble and rounded very slightly towards one corner (see photo), please see photos for condition.
