A really good example of an old Woden no. W4 smoothing plane.
The plane is fitted with a Woden, Made In England cutter.
This plane has the nice feature of being supplied in its original Woden box and coming with its original leaflet. It also has the nice feature of the plane retaining its original Woden trade label.
The leaflet highlights this plane was made during its time at 'Woden Tools Ltd, Bernard Road, Sheffield'.
Condition: all parts working smoothly, some patches of black staining/minor pitting, please see photos for condition.
